“It is the morning of the HJ music competition, and we are in a bus, making the long trip from Seoul to Cheongpyeong. I am surrounded by young people from across America, all of whom are dedicated, both in their love for music and their love for God. Mother, these past 5 days of practice have really taught me a lot about the beautiful mindset of our director, and all the other Christian ministers and performers that we are working with. Everything that they do is to bring glory to God. In their hearts, in their minds, they are fully focused on how their performance would bring God the most joy. We ourselves are inheriting that mindset, and want to express our unity and happiness for our Heavenly Parent. Mother, we’ve only been able to practice together for these 3 days, but in these days, I have felt immense joy in being able to perform for you, and being able to show the world that living together with our heavenly parent is a source of pride and strength. Through our smiles and laughter we can bring smiles to God’s heart, inspiring other people to include Heavenly Parent in their lives. There is incredible energy from the unity of 30 voices singing together in harmony. I believe that music was meant to teach us how to live together, how each person has a unique role, but all of them working together is vital to the harmony of the whole. When we work together it is beautiful and joyful, but if even one person disunites, the harmony loses its power. This is somewhat like principle, our world needs every person in order for us to harmoniously fulfill God’s dream. So with our song, we hope to inspire others to join us, in unity and harmony. People from all nations, backgrounds, religions, we can unite if we focus all of our glory on God. By gathering and moving the hearts of all people, we can bring our Heavenly Parent joy at last. Mother, we hope that when you watch us you can smile, and feel that your children are here to support you, uplift you, and unite with you to help restore the world.”
